A Soul Dimension Breathwork Journey Through the Five Layers of Body, Mind, Breath, and Awareness
Human awakening and healing are not sudden leaps beyond the body — they unfold gradually, through layers of experience that connect body, breath, mind, and awareness.
Join Sylvie Horvath of Soul Dimension for this 90-minute Breathwork Journey, where we explore the Five Koshas, the ancient yogic map of consciousness — from the physical body, to breath and energy, to emotions, insight, and deep inner peace. Together, these layers offer a practical guide for healing, balance, and conscious awakening.
The Five Koshas: A Map of Consciousness & Wellbeing
The koshas are layers we inhabit simultaneously, each influencing the others.
Annamaya Kosha — the physical body
Our muscles, organs, and nervous system. Supporting this layer helps us feel grounded, safe, and present.
Pranamaya Kosha — the energy and breath body
Life-force (prana) flows here, circulating through subtle channels and the chakras. When this layer is balanced, energy, vitality, and emotional regulation improve naturally.
Manomaya Kosha — the emotional and mental body
The seat of thoughts, emotions, and inner narratives. Balance here brings clarity, resilience, and a quieter mind.
Vijnanamaya Kosha — the wisdom and discernment body
Governs intuition, insight, and the ability to witness experience clearly.
Anandamaya Kosha — the bliss body
The subtlest layer, associated with deep inner contentment, peace, and a felt sense of connection beyond the personal self.
Healing and awakening happen as these layers communicate and support one another, restoring coherence throughout your being.
Breathwork as the Bridge Between Koshas and Chakras
Conscious breathing supports alignment across all layers:
- The physical body softens and releases tension
- Prana circulates through the energy body and chakras
- Emotions settle and the mind becomes quieter
- Awareness opens toward clarity, discernment, and inner bliss
Breathwork does not force awareness through the koshas. It allows prana to move naturally, letting balance and integration arise. The chakras act as energetic gateways, translating breath and energy into tangible shifts across body, mind, and awareness.
