About The Certification Training

Yoga teachers receive 35 YACEP credits

The 5 Pillars

There are 5 Pillars to this training which are rooted in a holistic perspective that all aspects of health and well-being are interconnected. These guiding principles will support you in your own inner work and journey, and give you a strong foundation to support you every step of the way to becoming a well-trained, confident breathwork facilitator.

BODY Explore Somatic practices for awakening the senses, helping to restore a feeling of embodiment and presence. Explore a new balance, and carve out new neural pathways in the brain. Breathe and explore accessible movements (yoga, dance, play)in a therapeutic setting to help clients release tensions, feel more calm, safe, centered and grounded.

BREATH Learn and practice a variety of breathing methods, from functional breathing and the Buyteko Method, to Soul Dimension Breathing, Holotropic, Wim Hoff, and yogic pranayama techniques that bring balance to the mind and nervous system, health to the body, and awaken the body’s natural healing.

ENERGY Connect to the intelligent life force within your body. Learn yogic practices that balance, heal, and awaken deeper levels of self-awareness and meditative states. Guide your clients and students with breathing and energy balancing techniques, in conjunction with whatever type of wellness therapies or meditation you might be offering. Empower others with natural healing practices that will help bring balance and harmony to their life.

What is Soul Dimension Breathwork?

After 30 plus years of exploring the transformative benefits of pranayama and modern breathing practices for accessing meditation, healing, altered states, and spiritual awakening, Sylvie Horvath created Soul Dimension Breathing to share the transformative benefits of breathing practices with people from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Soul Dimension breathing has a strong foundation in science and yogic knowledge. The practice brings together a powerful blending of modern and ancient practices for influencing and enhancing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. It’s a holistic system and way of breathing that includes modern therapeutic practices, pranayama, chakras, energy balancing, movement, sound healing, and guided meditation.

The Training Curriculum

Our Professional 22 week online training includes 2 live weekly group breathwork experiences, 1 live training class every fortnight, online training videos, Q&A sessions, and student facilitator practice sessions. Graduates of the program receive full certification and Yoga Alliance recognized educational credits. 

Module 1 – 2 The Foundations

  • The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system

Modules 3, 4 and 5 – Breathwork, Pranayama, Energy & Healing Practices

  • Pranayama practices for harmonizing and balancing body and mind
  • Explore modern breathwork methods: Holotropic, Wim Hoff, Conscious connected breathwork
  • Soul Dimension Breathing (breath, movement, sound, energy, meditation)
  • Movement/somatics (Part 1)
  • Functional breathing for asthma, better sleep, anxiety
  • Alternative, complementary healing modalities for facilitators
  • Emotional healing
  • PTSD and trauma release
  • Subconscious mind and programming
  • Anatomy of the energy body and chakras (part 1 and recorded content)
  • Chakra and energy balancing meditations (part 1 and recorded content)
  • Mudras, bandhas, energy balancing

Module 6 – Facilitation, Intention, Integration

  • Practice and lead breathing sessions 
  • Safety and breathwork contraindications
  • Creating safe space online and in-person
  • Holding space for others

  • Integration and facilitation practices: sound, voice, touch, safety
